AN emergency call by a member of the public who feared schoolchildren were brandishing a knife in Tilgate Park were investigated by police this afternoon - who found the children carrying a metal ruler.Officers were sent to the park at about 12.15pm following the call saying that teenagers wearing uniform appeared to be carrying a bladed object.They scoured the park and found two boys, whom they spoke to and found to be in possession of a ruler, which the concerned resident had...
