A MAN accused of using a pool ball inside a sock as a weapon has had the case against him dropped.Dean Allen, from Coolham Court, off Ifield Drive, in Ifield, appeared for trial at Horsham Magistrates' Court on November 20.The 41-year-old had previously denied a charge of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.On June 7 he was accused of using a pool ball inside a sock as a weapon in Victoria Road, West Green.The case against him was dismissed by magistrates.
