A NORTHGATE man accused of acting in a threatening manner in the town centre has had the case against him dropped.Clifford Markham appeared at Crawley Borough Council on December 29 to answer a charge of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour which could have caused harassment and alarm. Mr Markham was alleged to have acted in this way on The Boulevard on November 15.However, at the hearing the charge against the 48-year-old, from Centenary House, in Woodfield Road, was withdrawn.
