A YOUNG motorist has been convicted of driving without due attention and failing to stop after a crash.Taha Abbas Al-Alou, 20, of Livingstone Road, Tilgate, committed the crimes in Southgate Avenue on August 24.He previously denied the offences, but changed his pleas to guilty when he appeared at Horsham Magistrates' Court on February 16. He was fined £150 for each offence, had his driving licence endorsed with five penalty points, and was ordered to pay further costs of £320.
