A SEX offender has been jailed after returning from Australia for not informing police he intended to go abroad and not reporting a change of address.
Gerard O'Brien, 24, a landscape gardener, of no fixed address, appeared at Crawley Magistrates Court yesterday (March 12) charged with failing to notify police that his address had changed, as required as a convicted sex offender, and with failing to report his intention of foreign travel.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 16 weeks...
