A BROADFIELD woman has been successfully prosecuted by Crawley Borough Council for trying to fraudulently claim a council home.
Pheonah Zhitonge, 28, of Seddon Court, Broadfield, made a false application to join the council's housing register in April 2012 on the basis that she was a single homeless person with no fixed abode.
Applicants are required by law to complete the form truthfully and accurately.
