A LARGE police presence including officers, cars, vans and a forensics unit has been sent out to playing fields just off Rusper Road in Ifield.
The officers were there at about 1.30pm but it is not known why.
A Sussex Police spokesman said he was unable to give any details at this time about why they were there.
It is the second time in just over two weeks that a forensics team has been sent to that area.
