A DISTRACTION burglar has targeted an elderly man by posing as an official from the 'water board'.
The victim answered the door at Denchers Plat in Langley Green at around 2.30pm on Tuesday (July 16).
The suspect claimed to be doing checks in the area because of a burst water main.
The victim asked for identification and was shown some form of photo ID, but didn't get a clear view.
