A CANDIDATE for Ukip at the local elections next week has had a conviction for using a mobile phone while driving overturned and the case will go back before the courts.
Simon Darroch who is standing as Ukip candidate for Bewbush, complained that he had not received the paperwork informing him he was due in court to face the allegation until after he was found guilty in his absence.
