A MAN who allegedly spat at a woman because he did not like where she had parked will face trial next month after denying a charge of assault.
Riyal Nazar, 43, of Padstow Walk, in Bewbush, is accused of approaching the car of Lynsey Nelson on March 8 to confront her before spitting at her.
Appearing at Crawley Magistrates' Court today (Wednesday), Nazar pleaded not guilty to assault by beating. Although he is not accused of beating Ms Nelson, the act of spitting is treated as such.
