A MAN has pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer at a pub in Southgate.Ben Wilson assaulted Inspector Andrew Sandford at The Full Moon pub in Brighton Road on April 14.The 23-year-old, from St Edmunds Close, Langley Green, admitted the offence on May 5 and was sentenced at Crawley Magistrates' Court on June 4.Wilson was conditionally discharged for 36 months and ordered to pay court costs of £235 plus a £15 victim surcharge.No compensation was ordered because there were no...
