POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted as she walked alone through Waterlea Meadows, in Furnace Green.
The girl was walking through a partially wooded area with numerous footpaths in the nature reserve on Sunday, June 7 sometime between 1 and 4pm when she was approached by a man who grabbed her, touching her inappropriately.
She kicked him and he let go of her. She then ran back along a footpath that runs parallel to Norwich Road.
