POLICE have spoken out to urge families to take extra care when allowing children to play with dogs after a series of incidents in Sussex where youngsters were hurt after being bitten and left needing medical treatment.Sussex Police have been made aware of a number of children being injured around the county in recent weeks.Some were hurt by their family pet but others were bitten by animals belonging to friends.A total of six incidents were reported to police over the weekend of June 19-21.A...
