A RATHER cryptic message has explained why the police helicopter has been flying over Crawley tonight (Sunday).
The National Police Air Service's Twitter account has revealed that the helicopter has been over Ifield assisting in a search for "offenders" - but that there was "possibly no crime".
The message, posted at 11.48pm reads: "2140 #Ifield #Crawley assisting @sussexpolice search for possible offenders. No trace. Possibly no crime."
