BRITISH Transport Police (BTP) is investigating a report that a man was knocked unconscious in an alleged homophobic assault on a train travelling through Crawley.
The incident happened on a train travelling from Brighton following the Pride celebrations on Saturday shortly before midnight.
It is alleged two men used abusive and threatening language towards two other men on the train before the assault, which left one of the men, in his 50s, with injuries to his face.
