MONEY has been stolen from a sandwich shop in Crawley after thieves used an angle grinder to break into two safes.The Subway branch on Gatwick Road, Manor Royal was broken into at about 11.40pm on Saturday night and about £2,000 in cash was stolen.An alarm at the store was activated and when store manager Mark Goddard arrived he found a rear window had been smashed and safes had been damaged by a power tool.Mr Goddard, who has been in charge at the shop for four years, said: "I...
