POLICE have announced why a helicopter was dispatched over Crawley at the weekend.Sussex Police called for support from the National Police Air Service (NPAS) at 7.15pm on Sunday.The air coverage was needed in the hunt of a missing teenage girl who had last been seen in Three Bridges.A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: "We received reports that a teenage girl, 13, had gone missing in the Three Bridges area of Crawley."By 8pm she had returned home safe and well."
