A MAN has appeared in court charged with causing the deaths of two of his friends and with drug-driving.
Marc Martin, 22, and Matthew Preece, 21, died after the BMW they were travelling in hit a tree and flipped on to its roof.
The incident occurred in High Beeches Lane, in Handcross, on the evening of Wednesday, December 17 last year.
