A VILLAGE store was cordoned off by police following an overnight burglary.
Firefighters were alerted to an alarm sounding at Tesco Express in Forest Row, which on arrival they discovered was triggered by a break-in.
Cigarettes and alcohol were found strewn over the floor, and police were called to investigate.
The incident occurred shortly before 3am this morning (Friday).
