A 40-year-old man has been given a conditional discharge for possessing cannabis.Nigel Bunting was caught with the Class B drug in Crawley on August 24.Last Wednesday he pleaded guilty at Crawley Magistrates' Court. His sentence means no further action will be taken unless he commits another offence in the next 12 months.Bunting, of Forest View, Furnace Green, must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and additional court charges of £265.The drugs will be destroyed.
