TWO Crawley men will have to pay in excess of £50,000 after failing to heed a warning to stop running an unauthorised car park for people travelling from Gatwick. In 2014 the directors of Airport Parking Limited, Imran Shahid and Tariq Wasi, converted land at Lower Hollow Copse in Copthorne into an unauthorised car park. The land was used to store up to 800 cars of holidaymakers travelling from nearby Gatwick Airport, but the pair failed to apply for the necessary planning...
