RESIDENTS have heaped praise on a mystery hero who chased a youth after he robbed a woman in the street outside his house in Ifield.
The man, who the Crawley News understands wishes to remain anonymous, saw the incident take place in an alleyway off Lavington Close in Ifield just before 7am on Monday.
He gave chase wearing just a pair of boxer shorts and untied boots.
A 14-year-old boy was subsequently arrested at an address in Warren Drive and questioned by police before being released on bail...
