POLICE are investigating an attempt to scam a vulnerable man in Crawley.
The victim, who has learning difficulties, was approached by two men in a car who asked him to get inside and tried to get him to hand over credit cards and PIN numbers.
He was approached as he was walking along Ewhurst Road, in West Green, opposite the ambulance station on Ifield Avenue, while taking a lunchtime break from work at a nearby shop at about 1.45pm on Monday, December 14.
