TWO men have been arrested in connection with a violent assault in the town centre which left a man with deep cuts to his face and needing a skin graft.
The attack happened at about 2am on Saturday, December 4 in Bank Lane – a small road which runs down the side of the closed Legends bar and is behind Wilko, just off the High Street.
Alex Samson, 28, told officers he was led down the road from Anjelique before being attacked and having his phone and £470 in cash stolen.
