POLICE were called to a Bewbush primary school after a boy in Year 6 was found in possession of cannabis.
Teachers at the unnamed school alerted police after finding the pupil with a bag containing a small quantity of the class B drug on Monday at 11.15am.
The child was spoken to and escorted home by officers, who then passed the incident onto the school to deal with.
