A POLICE officer has been banned from driving for two years, after pleading guilty to being nearly three times the drink-drive limit.
James Smoothy, from Heathcotes, Maidenbower, gave a breathalyser reading of 98 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath - when the legal limit is 35.
