A SAFE is believed to have been stolen from a shop in Pound Hill during a burglary in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Just after 2am police were called to Shire Parade following the break-in.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "A break-in was reported on Shire Parade. A van left the scene, and it appears they may have taken a safe. This is an ongoing investigation."
