WE have a big problem in society with the way we view
rape cases and it's as evident in Crawley as it is anywhere.
Your immediate reaction to this statement may be to dismiss it as nonsense - rape is a horrendous crime and any right-minded individual would see it as that and surely condemn it. But why then do so many people, perhaps only subconsciously, doubt an allegation of rape in a way that they would not do so with any other crime?
