A TEENAGER has been fined £110 for not having a valid train ticket.
Ricardo Bailey, of Stafford Road, Langley Green, was due to appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court on March 8 to face charge of travelling on a Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) service through Balcombe on December 4, 2015.
The 19-year-old did not attend the hearing, but magistrates' fined him £110, as well as ordering him to pay £15 compensation to GTR, a £20 victim surcharge and court costs of £125.
