THE seven men arrested in the early hours of this morning on suspicion of drug offences were taken into custody after an officer spotted two cars meeting in a quiet country lane.
A car was patrolling Charlwood Road in Ifield just after midnight when an officer spotted the cars parked extremely close together in a small farm road which comes off it.
The police unit blocked the two vehicles and when the officer approached he allegedly noticed a strong smell of cannabis.
