A MAN was hit over the head with a baseball bat and punched in the face while eating at a town centre restaurant.Police are investigating the violent assault at Chicko's in The Boulevard on Monday evening (May 2).The victim, a 32-year-old local man, was sat inside the restaurant when a man came in and hit him over the head with the bat at about 7pm.
