The bomb squad were called to Crawley yesterday after a couple who were gardening at their home in Northgate discovered a grenade.
Sussex Police were called yesterday evening (Wednesday, June 15) after the alarmed couple made the shock finding, which they believed was a live grenade, at about 8.15pm.
