A MAN has been arrested in connection with the "unacceptable" theft of a Poppy Appeal collection tin on Remembrance Sunday.
Police made the arrest in the early hours of this morning (Thursday) and enquiries are ongoing.
The charity box was stolen from the Esso petrol station in Station Road, East Grinstead, at about 5am on Sunday.
