Police have explained why a helicopter was hovering over Crawley this morning.
The National Police Air Service (NPAS) police helicopter, which is based at Redhill, was called to provide support from high above as officers on the ground carried out out a search.Sussex Police were called to Broadfield shortly before 10am following reports of someone acting suspiciously.
