Police have explained why a helicopter dispatched and seen hovering over parts of Crawley and Copthorne last night.Sussex Police officers on the ground requested requested the assistance of the National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter and the Sussex and Surrey Police Dogs Unit to help with a search.Crawley Police were alerted to a 27-year-old man who had been reported as missing and was understood to have been spotted in the Copthorne area shortly before 9.30pm.Read more: Police helicopter...
