A man has been arrested after being spotted carrying a knife in Gossops Green this afternoon.
Officers were alerted to the incident by a member of the public and quickly attended the scene near the Dormans Youth Arts Centre, just off Dormans.
The man was taken into custody by police and is due to be questioned later on today.
