A main road in Tilgate has been shut after a car lost its rear wheel when it crashed into a fence near a filling station earlier this afternoon.
Police cordoned off part of Ashdown Drive after the red Citroen swerved and collided with a fence near the junction with Weddell Road, shortly before 1pm.
The incident happened near the BP garage in Tilgate.
