A man who grabbed a knife from a Crawley café and ran out into the street has been cleared of carrying a bladed article in a public place after he told the court he was acting in self-defence having been stabbed in the head twice in two days.
Naser Haji was found not guilty by a jury last week at Lewes Crown Court following a three-day trial where he denied the charge following an incident which happened on March 10.
