POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man threw punches at a married couple in a country pub.
The husband and wife were attacked at The Holmbush Inn, in Faygate, last Friday (November 29).
The man and woman, both in their 30s, were attacked by a man who threw punches at both.
The incident happened between 11.20pm and 11.40pm.
The woman was uninjured but her husband suffered cuts, bruises and an eye injury which required hospital treatment.
