A POLICE chase through Crawley, in which speeds of 90mph were reached, eneded with a car thief escaping capture.
Roads policing officers began following a black Audi S3 at 11.30pmon Saturday after its driver failed to stop when requested to do so by officers on patrol.
The Audi sped off and was followed from Crawley Avenue towards junction 10 of the M23.
The pursuit continued south on the M23 to junction 11 where the Audi turned off and headed into Broadfield.
