A MAN who was walking home from work has been smashed over the head with a bottle.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the appalling attack on the 26-year-old man.
He was making his way along Winfield Way, in Broadfield, next to Crawley Town's stadium, when he was attacked by two young men at 6.30pm on Monday.
The victim was able to run off before being attacked further or robbed.
The first attacker was of mixed race, 15 to 18 years old, 5ft 9in to 5ft 10in tall and of medium build....
