VANDALS have sprayed brown paint over 40 cars in Ifield this morning (April 10).
A police spokesman said that between 30 and 40 cars were damaged by vandals who sprayed what appeared to be creosote paint along the vehicles' sides.
The incident happened between 10.30 and 10.45am on Ifield Drive, between Ifield Parade and the railway station.
Police have said they do not know the exact number of vandalised cars as some vehicles had already been driven off when they were called.
