TEN racing pigeons have been stolen after a shed was broken into in Furnace Green.
The birds were liberated from the shed at the back of a property in Coltash Road on Sunday.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw somebody acting suspiciously in the area - or who happened to be running up the road with ten pigeons under their arm - to come forward.
Anyone who has been offered racing pigeon for sale should also report it to Sussex Police.
