POLICE are reminding people, especially the elderly and anyone living alone, not to be taken in by a trend of phone callers posing as police officers or bank staff who ask for bank and card details.
There were nine attempts by con artists to gain access to bank accounts and cards on one day alone in Sussex earlier this week.
