A POLICE investigation has been launched after a seven-year-old schoolboy was approached by a stranger who offered him a lift home.
The man approached the boy as he made his way home from school in Horley.
The incident occurred at about 3.30pm on Tuesday (April 22) as the boy walked near to the underpass at the railway station.
Police were called at about 10pm that same evening.
It is believed the man asked the boy if he would like a lift home.
