A FORMER police officer from Crawley is still out of work more than four months after admitting stealing groceries from a supermarket.It emerged this week that in February, at Lewes Crown Court, Roger Toms pleaded guilty to stealing £150 of items from Tesco in Hazelwick Avenue, Three Bridges, on April 16 last year.He and his wife Sharon had been due to face trial on the same charge, after both of them denied the theft.
