A GIRL was bitten on her cheek while walking home in West Green and had to be taken to hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault on the 17-year-old who was attacked at Horsham Road on Friday (July 11) between 8.30pm and 9pm.
The victim was walking home near to the level crossing and opposite the Casbah shop.
The suspect was known to the victim.
