A JURY has been sworn in this morning (Monday) at the beginning of the trial into the death in Three Bridges of homeless man Joao Esteves.
Daniel Palmer, 24, of Maunsell Park, Station Hill, Three Bridges, is accused of murder, a charge he has pleaded not guilty to.
Mr Esteves, 45, from Lisbon, in Portugal, was found lying unconscious in an alleyway in Three Bridges with serious head injuries at 3.25am on January 19.
He was taken to hospital but died later that day.
