THE best friend of Daniel Palmer has begun giving evidence at Lewes Crown Court today (Monday).
Palmer, 24, is accused of murdering a homeless man in Three Bridges.
Roy Hancock told the jury that Palmer had punched a man called Danny Matthews as Mr Matthews walked into Legends, a bar in Crawley High Street.
Mr Hancock added that Palmer had grabbed Mr Matthews by the throat.
