A BOGUS caller has stolen £400 from a 90-year-old woman after claiming her chimney needed fixing.
The victim, who lives at Kites Close, West Green, answered her door to a man who said her chimney needed to be repaired on July 2.
The bogus caller took £400 in cash from her saying he would return with materials but did not do so.
Police received a report of the crime at 12.20pm on Saturday (July 26).
